Their goal should be to guide their team towards making informed patient care decisions.

• They also monitor the form and quality of care that patients receive and take necessary measures to ensure that their team is working towards optimum quality health care delivery. This monitoring process involves both quantitative metrics and qualitative assessments to ensure comprehensive care quality. This involves taking complaints from both patients and nurses and addressing them accordingly.
