Raymond Allen Snowden met Cora Lucyle Dean at the HiHo club and they left together. After they left the club, they got into an argument as to who was to pay the cab fare. They later calmed down, and as they crossed the street, they began arguing again; this is when Snowden took Dean over beside a pickup truck and pulled out his pocket knife and sliced her throat.
